Mi historia.
My story, like many others, is the successful story of an immigrant in the United States.
What makes it more interesting, is that while conquering my dreams, I also had the chance to help many people, immigrants and not, in finding their own path to success. And at the same time, gain the trust of clients of a varied range, from small and mid-sized advertising agencies, to large communication holding companies worldwide.
It all started when I came to the United States at age 20 and became part of the job market. I was young, I really wanted to progress, but I had a hard time finding a field that gave me satisfaction. I have always been convinced, and it is part of what I look for in candidates, that the only way for us to do well at work is when we enjoy what we do. In my case, I went through various industries, such as real estate, mortgages, and property management. During those years, I used to jump very quickly from one job to another.
Thinking back, I must have been a nightmare for recruiters at the time!
Until one day I started working as an assistant to a very successful recruiter, and immediately loved the job. I became a quick and enthusiastic learner. And I was the only bilingual person in the company, in an increasingly multicultural world. The combination of what I was able to learn, plus the benefits of understanding different cultures, helped me grow very fast. Being part of a minority group myself, often helped me understand the needs and expectations of other minorities, so the cultural experience went way beyond specializing in Hispanic candidates.
After many years of success, the company I worked for was sold to another firm in 2008, and I decided it was the right time to start my own business. My goal was to help clients find passionate teams for their needs, and to help set the best path to success and job enjoyment for candidates from diverse cultures, backgrounds and levels of experience.
Today, after more than 10 years, we have grown not only in experience, but also in the areas we cover and in satisfying the needs of our nationwide clients. With a strong team of recruiters and researchers with lots of experience in the many areas that we cover, we are the perfect ally for our corporate clients, marketing and advertising agencies, both Multicultural and mainstream, who seek us to strengthen their teams with a much-needed diversity approach.
